Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 thick leeks
- ½ lime(s) or lemon
- herbal salt
- n. B. Oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
ideal side dish for grilling
Wash the leeks thoroughly. Remove the green part and reserve for another purpose. Halve the leeks lengthwise and then divide each into three pieces. Place on a lightly oiled grill pan or grill tray. Drizzle with oil and lime juice, and sprinkle with herb salt. Grill over high heat, with the lid closed if possible, until the leeks are not just lightly browned but distinctly black. They should look roughly like the second recipe preview, but even darker would be better!
