Grilled Tomatoes for Franzi
The perfect grilled tomatoes for franzi recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Beefsteak tomatoes, medium size
- 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Grated cheese – Parmesan or a mixture with Parmesan
- 1 tbsp Fresh smooth parsley
- 1 pinch Dried thyme
- 2 tsp Olive oil
- Cut the tomatoes in half – if the halves do not stand well, carefully cut flat at the bottom.
- Mix the breadcrumbs, cheese, chopped parsley, crumbled thyme together (can also be mixed in the moulinette – then you don’t need to chop the parsley). Taste variation: add a little rosemary or garlic;)
- Then mix the mixture with as much olive oil (or basil or rosemary oil) until the crumbs hold together loosely.
- Put the mixture on the cut surface of the tomatoes and put them all in an oiled tin.
- Bake in the oven at 180 – 200 ° C until the desired browning is achieved.
