quick and easy

Spread a sufficiently large piece of aluminum foil with herb butter. Wash the trout, dry it inside and out, season it with salt and pepper to taste (and to the desired seasoning of the herb butter used), and place it on the aluminum foil. Add a little herb butter, or oil if desired, along with the lemon slices and parsley, to the belly and seal the foil tightly. Place it on the hot grill and grill for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Cooking time varies slightly depending on the size of the fish, but it should be cooked through after 20 minutes.
