Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 trout, whole, gutted and scaled
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 tbsp condensed milk, or a little more
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic, or a little more
  • ½ bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce, if you like

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Good for the grill

Acidify the trout with lemon juice. Whisk the canned milk with the egg. Mix in crushed garlic, salt, pepper, and finely chopped parsley (amounts to taste). I like to add a few drops of Worcestershire sauce. Brush the trout inside and out with it. Let it marinate for an hour. Place in a grill basket and place on the charcoal grill. Grill for about 8 minutes on each side.
