Ingredients

  • 1 L Red wine heavy
  • 8 cl Brandy
  • 4 cl Rum
  • 2 tsp Tea black dry
  • 2 Freshly squeezed orange
  • 0,5 Freshly squeezed lemon
  • 1 Cinnamon stick approx. 1 cm
  • 1 Star anise
  • 1 Clove
  • 1 Cardamom capsule
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar

Instructions

  • First 5 degrees plus in the far north and yesterday evening 5 degrees minus. I made this grog on the spur of the moment. Slowly heat the red wine and the juice of the squeezed fruit in a saucepan. Then add the alcohol.
  • Put the loose tea in a tea bag, the spices in a tea infuser. Pour both into the liquid and bring everything to a boil once.
  • Now let the grog steep for a few minutes. Then remove the tea infuser and tea bag. Sweets to taste.
  • Serve the grog in a hot-rinsed carafe. The drinking glasses should be preheated. Drink it as hot as possible. Bet that everyone will be warm there.
