Ingredients

  • 1 Ripe avocado
  • 1 half small Onion white
  • 1 small Tomato
  • 1 tsp Fresh coriander
  • 30 ml Sour cream
  • 1 tsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 splash Tabasco
  • 1 splash Salt
  • 1 pinch Chilli from the mill

Instructions

preparation

  • Cut the avocado in half by cutting it all around up to the core and then turning the two parts in opposite directions - the best way to get the core out is to "skin" the core with a sharp knife - the knife then gets stuck in the core and so you can easily pull it out with a twisting motion
  • Cut ½ onion and 1 small tomato into very small cubes - finely chop 1 tsp coriander

preparation

  • Now hollow out the avocado with a spoon - the avocado meat is then mashed with a fork until a smooth, supple mixture is created - add the onion and tomato cubes as well as the coriander to the avocado mixture - stir in the sour cream, lemon juice, tabasco and season with salt

tip

  • if you place the avocado core in the sauce dip until serving, the avocado mass will not discolour

Postscript

  • the practical tip on how to effortlessly unscrew the avocado core with a sharp knife is from lillyfee274 - I am happy to pass it on here because it actually works brilliantly ....
