Gyro Pizza – Gourmet

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of pizza dough
  • 1 bottle of sauce (barbecue sauce)
  • 500 g pork, shredded, seasoned (gyros)
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • ½ garlic clove(s)
  • 1 cup sour cream or crème fraîche with herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Clean and slice the mushrooms. Spread the barbecue sauce over the pizza dough. Brown the gyro meat in oil, add the mushrooms and cook them, then spread both on the pizza dough. Sprinkle with cheese and bake the pizza for 15-20 minutes at 200°C (400°F). Meanwhile, slice the spring onions into rings, finely chop or press the garlic clove, and mix both with the herb cream. After baking, spread over the pizza and serve immediately.
