Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g creamed spinach, frozen
- 150 g bacon, finely diced
- 50 g quark
- 2 garlic cloves
- some nutmeg
- some salt and pepper
- e.g. garlic powder
- n. B. Caraway
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Fry the diced bacon in a pan with a little oil until crispy. Then chill in the refrigerator. Thaw the frozen spinach and squeeze it well to drain any excess liquid. Finely chop the garlic. Combine the spinach, quark, bacon, and garlic in a bowl and mix well. Season the mixture with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. If desired, add a little garlic powder and caraway. This spread is perfect on fresh bread or for dipping.
