simple, quick and filling, inspired by the popular burger classic

Preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Dice the onion and slice the gherkins. Fry the ground beef with the onions until crumbly and season with salt and pepper. Make the Big Mac sauce from ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, and pickle juice. Season to taste with a pinch of sugar and a pinch of chili powder. Spread the sauce on the pizza dough. Sprinkle the cooked ground beef over the sauce. Spread most of the gherkins on top, reserving a few slices for garnishing later. Top the pizza with cheddar cheese. Bake in the hot oven for about 20 minutes. Garnish with the remaining gherkins and serve with a crisp salad. The Big Mac pizza tastes good both hot and cold.
