Gyros and Hash Browns

The perfect gyros and hash browns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Gyros meat
  • 2 piece Onions
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 200 g Tzaziki
  • 2 Cans Mushrooms (314 ml)
  • 1 bag Hash browns
  • 200 g Grated cheese
  • 500 ml Sieved tomatos
  1. Cut the onions into rings.
  2. Mix the cream, tzaziki and tomato sauce.
  3. Briefly sear the gyros and the mushrooms. Put in a lightly greased baking dish.
  4. Place onion rings on top. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Place the frozen rösti on top and pour the cream mixture over them.
  5. Bake in the middle rack at 180 ° C for about 40 minutes.
