Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1,600 g meat (gyro strips)
- 6 tbsp oil
- 4 flatbreads
- 1 cucumber(s)
- 8 tomatoes
- 2 onions, red
- 800 g quark (tzatziki – quark)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Brown the gyro strips in oil in a large pan. Bake the flatbreads in a 200°C oven for about 5 minutes until crispy, then quarter them. Score each quarter to create a pocket. Thinly slice the cucumber and tomatoes, and finely slice the onion. Fill the flatbread pockets evenly with the gyro, tzatziki curd, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions, press them together gently, and serve in a napkin if desired.
