  • 2 tbsp paprika powder, hot
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 16 slice(s) of toast or baguette, of your choice
  • 2 cups of tzatziki
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 32 olives
  • e.g. feta cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

with spicy minced meat mixture, feta, tomatoes, olives and more

Take the minced meat out of the fridge one hour before preparation and place it in a large bowl. Finely chop or slice the parsley, garlic, feta cheese, and shallot(s). Add these and all the remaining ingredients for the minced meat to the large bowl and mix everything well. This is best done by hand or with the dough hook of a hand mixer. Chop the olives, tomatoes, and cucumber as finely as possible, and slice the onion into rings. Add the cucumber pieces to the tomato pieces and season with salt and pepper. Set everything aside in separate bowls. Toast the bread or bake the baguette in the oven according to the package instructions. Shape the meat according to the size of the bread or baguette and cook until the desired browning is achieved. It should still be moist. Now spread both insides of the bread or baguettes generously with tzatziki and place the meat on the bottom. Then add the onion rings, cucumber, and tomatoes, and another dollop of tzatziki. Now top with olives and, if desired, feta. Finally, place the sandwich on top, press down slightly, and cut diagonally or as desired. Serve with fries. Enjoy!
