Ingredients
- 1 Bun rye bun
- Butter for brushing
- 1 disc Medium-Aged Gouda - approx. 120 g
- 1 small Pickled cucumber
- 1 small Cocktail tomato
- 1 blob Mustard
- Onion rings
- 1 Radishes in pens
Instructions
- There is probably no inn in Cologne and the surrounding area where this specialty is not on the menu.
- And many a tourist has sat in front of his cheese roll with a disappointed expression, because he actually wanted to eat a good piece of meat - after all, he has ordered a "Halven Hahn" ** smile **!
- And this is how it is made: cut the roll in half and brush with butter, then cover with the thick slice of cheese, garnish with the pickled cucumber, the tomato and a dollop of mustard. Put the onion rings on top of the cheese and the radish sticks on top of the onion rings. If you like, sprinkle a pinch of hot paprika over it.
