Ham and cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 120 g cooked ham
  • 60 g butter
  • 150 ml sour cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 g Parmesan
  • pepper
  • nutmeg powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the cooked ham into small cubes or strips. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the milk, cream, and ham. Cut or grate the Parmesan cheese into small cubes and add to the sauce. Bring to a boil briefly to melt the Parmesan cheese. Season with nutmeg and pepper to taste. This goes wonderfully with spaghetti or tortellini.
