Ham and cream sauce like the Italians

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g cooked ham
  • ½ clove(s) garlic
  • ¼ bunch parsley
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 piece(s) Parmesan, freshly grated (Parmigiano Reggiano)
  • salt and pepper
  • some olive oil
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

quick and easy

Cut the ham into strips. Finely chop the garlic. Heat a little olive oil with a little butter in a pan and lightly fry the ham. Add the garlic and fry for a little longer. Finely chop the parsley and coarsely grate the Parmigiano Reggiano. Deglaze with the vegetable stock, ham, and garlic and bring to a boil. Add the cream and milk and continue cooking. Add a little grated Parmigiano Reggiano and melt while stirring. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Simmer until reduced to the desired consistency and season with chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and Parmigiano Reggiano. Serve with any pasta and enjoy.
