Ham bananas with curry rice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 tsp curry
  • Salt
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • some sweet paprika powder
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 bananas
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Sauté the rice in melted butter. Add the curry and stock. Cook for about 15 minutes. Add salt, if desired. Mix the egg with the paprika. Coat the ham first in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs. Wrap the bananas in the egg mixture and secure with wooden skewers. Transfer the rice to an ovenproof dish and place the bananas on top. Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
