Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 slice(s) ham, (model ham) slices thinly sliced
- 250 g quark
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 large egg(s), boiled, cut into cubes
- 1 bunch chives, finely chopped
- 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
- 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- some salt and pepper, from the mill
- some Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can white asparagus (tips)
- 4 slice(s) of bread(s), toasted
- some lettuce, green
- 1 large tomato(s), cut into 8 wedges
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Ham rolls as a starter
Arrange the ham slices next to each other. Combine the quark, mayonnaise, paprika, egg cubes, chives, onions, and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper and a little Worcestershire sauce, and mix again. Spread the mixture among the ham slices, add three to four asparagus tips, and roll them up. Arrange some lettuce on four plates, each with two ham rolls. Place two tomato wedges and a slice of toast on top of the lettuce. Serve immediately.
