Ham-wrapped Squid
The perfect ham-wrapped squid recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 750 g Brussels sprouts fresh / cleaned
- 500 g Squid fillet
- 200 g Black Forest ham or something similar
- Salt, pepper, cream
preparation
- Wrap the squid in ham and secure with a toothpick
- Clean the Brussels sprouts and cook them in salted water until soft
preparation
- Fry the squid rolls on all sides for about 1 minute, then remove the toothpicks
- Puree the Brussels sprouts with a hand blender, season to taste (if you like, add cream)
Serving
- Arrange the squid rolls on a Brussels sprouts mirror
- This goes well with jacket potatoes, boiled “triplets” or potato noodles
