Hamburger with quark meatballs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 250 g herb curd
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 large bell pepper(s), red
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 225 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit). Combine the ground beef, quark, eggs, and finely chopped onion in a bowl and knead thoroughly. Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic, and nutmeg. Form into 4 meatballs and place them on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven for 30 minutes. In the meantime, slice the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and bell pepper into rings or strips. Briefly bake the hamburger buns. Then place the meatballs in the buns, top with the other ingredients, and enjoy!
