Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 ciabatta
  • 1 pack of Sucuk
  • 1 cup cream (garlic cream)
  • 3 slices of cheese
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • ½ iceberg lettuce

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

crispy ciabatta with a Turkish garlic sausage

Preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Wash the iceberg lettuce and cut about half of it into smaller leaves. Wash the tomato and slice it thinly. If the sucuk isn’t sliced yet, slice it. Halve the ciabatta bread and cut it into two equal pieces. I always use a baguette for baking. Top the two bottom halves with sucuk, a slice of tomato, and the cheese, and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Either leave the top halves alone or, if it’s a baking baguette, add them to the oven with it. If desired, top the top half with cheese. After the baking time is up, let the sandwiches cool slightly. Add the garlic cream and some iceberg lettuce and cover with the top baguette half.
