Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of toast
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 120 g cheese (Gouda), grated or shredded
  • 120 g crème fraîche
  • 400 g ham, cooked
  • salt and pepper
  • curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Toast the bread and cut it in half diagonally. Drain the pineapple. Mix 2/3 of the crème fraîche with the cheese (reserve some for sprinkling) and season with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Place the toast, then the ham and pineapple in a baking dish and spread the cheese and crème fraîche mixture over it. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the bread and bake in the oven at approximately 175 degrees Celsius.
