Hawaiian Chopped Salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g mushrooms
  • 1 piece(s) of sausage, aromatic, e.g. cervelat
  • ½ bell pepper(s)
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 40 g olives, black
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • ½ head of iceberg lettuce
  • possibly pineapple

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

All ingredients should be cut into small pieces (i.e., into approximately 0.5 – 1.0 cm cubes). Chop the mushrooms, sauté, season with salt, and let cool. Chop the sausage, fry, and let cool. Chop the peppers, onion, olives, and tomatoes into small pieces. Chop the iceberg lettuce into small pieces. You can add some chopped pineapple to taste (I personally prefer it without). Serve with a light, delicate Italian salad dressing.
