Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 gr. can/n pineapple rings
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g flour
  • 5 m.-sized eggs
  • 125 ml milk
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • 125 ml carbonated mineral water
  • 100 ml chili sauce (Thai), sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

For 12 pieces

Drain the pineapple thoroughly. Slice the spring onions into thin rings. Sauté briefly in hot oil. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the pan. Mix the flour, eggs, and milk into a batter and season with salt and pepper. Let it stand for 15 minutes. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices. Quarter the ham. Line a roasting pan or casserole dish with baking paper. Stir the mineral water into the batter, then pour it evenly into the roasting pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (convection oven) for about 8 minutes, then remove from the pan. Top with the spring onions, pineapple, ham, and mozzarella. Spread the chili sauce over the top and continue baking at the same temperature for about 12 minutes. Also delicious with feta cheese, salami, or tomato slices.
