Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g sugar
- 6 eggs
- 300 g hazelnuts, ground
- ½ pack of baking powder
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
for 12 pieces
Beat the sugar and eggs until frothy. Combine the baking powder with the ground nuts and mix into the sugar and egg mixture. Bake in a well-greased loaf pan in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven) for 50-60 minutes. Starting at the 50th minute, check the cake every 3 minutes with a knitting needle. The cake should still be moist, so it’s moist. Variation: Replace 50 g of ground nuts with 2 grated rusks.
