- 3 egg whites
- 220 g sugar
- 350 g hazelnuts, ground
- 50 g white chocolate
- 50 hazelnuts

Christmas cookies, quick and easy to prepare!
Preheat the oven to 150°C (top/bottom heat). Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Slowly add the sugar to the bowl of egg whites and mix everything together for another 10 minutes, ideally using a hand mixer. Then carefully fold the ground hazelnuts into the egg whites. Using two teaspoons, form small heaps or sugared hands into small balls and place them on baking sheets lined with baking paper, leaving some space between them. The balls can also be flattened slightly. Bake the macaroons (hazelnut heaps) for 20 to 25 minutes. Then let everything cool completely. Finally, melt the white chocolate and place a hazelnut on top of each cooled macaroon.
