Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 egg whites
- 130 g powdered sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 3 tsp curd
- 150 g hazelnuts, grated and roasted
- 100 g hazelnuts, sliced
- 40 hazelnuts, whole
- wafers
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour
Macaroons, makes about 40 pieces
Beat the egg whites until stiff, then slowly add the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Set aside at least 3 tablespoons of the egg whites for decoration. Fold the nuts and quark into the egg white mixture and place walnut-sized portions onto small (4cm diameter) wafers. Using a piping nozzle, pipe small dots onto the hazelnut mounds and place a whole hazelnut on top. Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes (dry).
