Healthy Cake: Oatmeal Banana Bread
The perfect healthy cake: oatmeal banana bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Oatmeal
- 5 Pc. Ripe bananas
- 350 g Unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 6 tsp Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Ground vanilla
- 1 tsp Cocoa powder
- 150 g Raisins
- 2 tsp Coconut oil
- Process the oatmeal into flour in the food processor. Process the bananas into puree. Melt coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat. Briefly stir all ingredients together to form a dough.
- Fill into a greased loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees circulating air (or 200 degrees top / bottom heat) on the middle rack for approx. 50 – max. 60 minutes.
- Let the cake cool down in the tin, then remove it. Tastes very tasty sliced and coated with nut butter 🙂
