Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 230 g bell pepper(s), approx.
  • 200 g wholemeal flour
  • 2 tbsp thyme
  • 4 tbsp paprika powder
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

low-fat and simple

Chop the bell peppers and puree them. It’s not necessary to puree everything finely; tiny pieces can remain. Then pour the mixture into a bowl and knead it with the flour. It’s important to gradually knead in the flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Then add the thyme and paprika powder. The amounts can be adjusted. Roll out the mixture as thinly as possible on a floured baking sheet and cut to size. Bake the crackers for 15 minutes at 110°C (230°F) in a fan oven. Once this time is up, carefully turn the dough over, sprinkle with salt and other spices if desired, and bake for another 15 minutes at the same temperature. Tip: The crackers taste particularly good with cream cheese.
