Hearty barbecue marinade for lumberjack steaks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp lemon peel, cracklings
  • some pepper
  • Caraway (to taste)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

for pork neck or pork loin steaks

The marinade is designed for about 4 pieces of meat. Roughly chop the onion and garlic. Place all ingredients except the caraway seeds in a blender and blend thoroughly. Add caraway seeds, if desired. Let the steaks marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight is better.
