Hearty breakfast – rice with ham and egg

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup(s) rice, approx. 200 – 250 ml content
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • 3 eggs
  • Vegetable stock powder
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. basil
  • e.g. chives
  • e.g. parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 18 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes

simple, quick, for a small appetite

First, place the rice in a pot and fill with water so that the water level is about 1-2 cm above the rice. Cook the rice over low heat, stirring occasionally, until tender. In the meantime, whisk the eggs with vegetable stock powder (just the instant powder, no water!), a little salt, and pepper, and scramble in a pan with a little oil. Then dice the ham and fry it with the rest. Now add the rice and herbs as desired. Season everything again with vegetable stock, salt, and pepper.
