Hearty Meatballs
The perfect hearty meatballs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Pig meat
- 1 Yesterday’S rolls
- 0,5 Onion approx. 100 g
- 0,5 Red peppers approx. 100 g
- 1 Egg
- 4 tbsp 4 – 6 tbsp Semmelbrösel
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Mild curry powder
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika
- 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
- Soak yesterday’s rolls in water and squeeze them out well. Peel onion and chop finely. Clean, wash and finely dice the peppers. Put all ingredients (250 g pork meat, 1 squeezed bun, onion cubes, paprika cubes, 1 egg. 4 – 6 tablespoons breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon mild curry powder and 1 teaspoon sweet paprika) in a bowl and mix well to form a smooth batter / knead. Shape meatballs (7 – 8 pieces) with moistened hands, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with sunflower oil (½ cup) on both sides until golden-brown.
