Ingredients

  • 6 Pc. Apples red
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 Pc. Puff pastry roll
  • 300 g Sauerkraut preserve
  • 150 g Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 50 g Roasted onions
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  • Squeeze out the lemon juice and pour it into a large bowl with water. Slice the apples very thinly and immediately put them in the lemon water so they don't turn brown.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a cutting board and cut it lengthways into 4 strips. Brush each strip of puff pastry with crème fraîche and cover the lower third with sauerkraut and fried onions.
  • Grind the pepper and salt over it and fold the puff pastry at the bottom so that the filling is half covered. Place the apple crescents on the upper third, overlapping them so that they protrude over the puff pastry.
  • Now roll up the puff pastry strip to create a rose and place the puff pastry rose in a greased muffin tin. Bake the roses in the preheated oven at 170 ° C O / U for about 25 minutes.
