Puff Pastry – Apple – Roses

The perfect puff pastry – apple – roses recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 role Puff pastry from refrigeration
  • 2 tsp Apricot jam
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Sugar and cinnamon
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  1. Wash the apples, cut them in half and cut out the core. Slice into fine strips.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a worktop, cut into 4 strips.
  3. Brush the strips with apricot jam.
  4. Cover the upper half of the strip with apple slices.
  5. Mix the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle the apple pieces with it.
  6. Fold the lower half of the puff pastry over the apples so that only the upper arches peek out.
  7. Roll the strip up to form a rose.
  8. Proceed in the same way with all strips of dough and place the puff pastry roses in prepared muffin molds.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° for about 20 minutes.
