Hearty spinach sauce for pasta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 1 package of processed cheese (herb)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 80 g bacon, diced
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp pine nuts
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 250g tagliatelle

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely dice the onion and garlic. Defrost the spinach and squeeze the excess water. Roast the pine nuts without fat until golden brown. Cook the pasta. Fry the bacon in a pan without fat. Sauté the spinach, onion, and garlic for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir in the processed cheese, cream, and milk, bring to a boil, and season to taste.
