Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g block chocolate
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 125 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 100 g hazelnuts, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Box shape, simple but ingenious

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in. Melt the chocolate block with the milk in a saucepan (no need for a double boiler). Fold the mixture into the butter, egg, and sugar mixture along with the remaining ingredients. Bake the batter in a loaf pan at 160°C for 60-70 minutes.
