Ingredients for 70 servings:
- 250 g butter, soft (no margarine)
- 125 g sugar
- 125 g almond(s), ground
- 375 g flour
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp sugar

Christmas biscuit
Cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the ground almonds and flour and knead. Form the dough into logs approximately 3 cm in diameter and wrap in aluminum foil. Chill for about 1 hour. Preheat oven to 150°C. Cut 1 cm-thick slices from the logs and form into balls. Flatten slightly, place on a baking sheet, and bake for about 20-25 minutes. Mix 2 packets of vanilla sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of sugar. Toss the cookies in the mixture while still hot, then let them cool on a wire rack.
