Heimi’s Cheese Cake

The perfect heimi’s cheese cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Egg yolk
  • 3 tbsp Warm water
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 150 g Flour
  • 3 Protein
  • Filling
  • 5 sheet Gelatin white
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 2 Eggs
  • 75 g Sugar
  • Grated lemon peel
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 500 g Quark
  • 125 g Cream
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  1. Bake a base of 3 eggs. FOR THE FILLING Soak the gelatine in cold water, halve the vanilla pod and remove the pulp with a teaspoon or a small knife. Separate the eggs, beat the egg yolks with two thirds of the sugar, the vanilla pulp, the lemon zest and the juice to a thick cream and add the quark by tablespoon and stir. Dissolve the gelatine in a water bath and stir in the quark cream, spoon by spoon, whip the egg white and cream separately and stir into the quark cream with the remaining sugar. Place the bottom cake base in the springform pan, pour in the quark cream. Place the top cake base on top, chill for four hours and dust with powdered sugar.
