Heimi’s Nut Cake with Marzipan

Aside from that
- 400 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 200 g Nuts
- 200 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 3 tbsp Apricot jam
- 200 g Marzipan paste
- 50 g Powdered sugar
- 150 g Chocolate couverture
- Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Fold in the nuts, flour and baking powder
- Bake the cake for about 50 minutes at 180-200 degrees. Let cool down well
- Heat the apricot jam. Paste the cake, knead the marzipan mixture with powdered sugar, then roll it out thinly and cover the cake with it. press firmly. Finally, coat everything with chocolate couverture.
