Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g beetroot, cooked and peeled
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 1 pinch(s) of caraway powder
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 15 minutes
Slice the beetroot and place it in a bowl. Finely chop a small onion and add it. Add two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and one tablespoon of soy sauce along with the remaining ingredients. The salad tastes best when you let it sit for a while and wait until the beetroot has absorbed the ingredients (a couple of hours). Then season with 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and one tablespoon of soy sauce, as well as salt. The longer it sits, the better the salad. The amount of salt and soy sauce is a matter of taste, so just experiment.
