Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef or mixed
  • 125 g hemp seeds, peeled
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 1 medium onion(s), chopped or pureed
  • 1 roll(s), stale, cut into thin slices
  • 1 egg(s)
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • n. B. water
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • e.g. oregano
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Remove the parsley leaves from the stems and chop coarsely. Briefly run the dry bread slices (or dumpling bread) under hot tap water, drain, and knead with the egg, minced meat, hemp seeds, and water. Continue adding breadcrumbs until the dough is fairly dry and no longer sticks to your fingers. Sauté the chopped or pureed onion in a pan with a little (olive) oil until golden brown. Mix it into the meat mixture along with the spices (there are no limits to creativity). Form the meat mixture into patties and fry in a pan with plenty of (olive) oil over medium heat until the top and bottom are nicely browned.
