Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 200 ml milk
  • 7 tbsp oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g wheat flour
  • 150 g spelt flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g chopped nuts, e.g. hazelnuts or walnuts
  • 25 g sunflower seeds
  • 25 g sesame seeds
  • 4 tbsp mixed herbs
  • butter
  • breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

vegetarian, low-calorie

Combine quark, milk, oil, and eggs. Combine both flours, baking powder, salt, chopped nuts, and herbs, and fold into the batter. Grease a 12-hole muffin tin with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour in the batter and sprinkle the sunflower seeds and sesame seeds over the muffins. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C or 140°C fan-assisted for 20-25 minutes.
