Jelly made from fruit juice

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of currant juice
  • 120 g sugar or equivalent liquid sweetener
  • 28 g aspic powder, 200 bloom
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

Gather and weigh all ingredients. Stir everything into the fruit juice, adding the aspic powder last. Stir everything evenly and let it swell for 5 minutes. Then heat the mixture in the microwave to about 70°C, stir thoroughly again, pour into appropriate containers, and let it cool. This can be done with any fruit juice; the sweetness may need to be adjusted. Those calorie-conscious can use sweetener: 4.4 g sugar = 1 sweetener tablet; 5 g sugar = 8 drops liquid sweetener.
