Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 175 g sugar
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 500 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 handful of lemon balm, fresh
  • 1 handful of thyme
  • some oregano
  • some marjoram
  • 3 tbsp black cumin (nigella seeds)
  • 2 tbsp sumac fruits, ground
  • 1 pack of flavoring (orange flavor)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Wash and finely chop the herbs. Make a dough with the remaining ingredients and gradually knead in the herbs. Refrigerate for half an hour. Dust the countertop with flour and roll out the dough thinly. Cut out cookies and bake at approximately 180°C for about 15-20 minutes (until they begin to brown). One batch of dough yields approximately 50 cookies (depending on the cutter).
