Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g low-fat curd cheese
- 200 g cream
- 100 g sour cream
- 4 g salt
- 3 g black pepper, ground
- 40 g herbs (frozen 8-herb mixture)
- 1 clove(s) garlic, or 1 g garlic powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest period approx. 2 days; Total time approx. 2 days 1 hour
Mix the quark and sour cream, cream, oil, salt and pepper, finely chopped garlic, and herbs thoroughly. Line a sieve with a kitchen towel and let the mixture rest at room temperature for 2 days or until it dries completely. Then roll the mixture into balls, preferably with wet hands, about 5 cm in diameter. These balls can also be easily made with an ice cream scoop. The balls are then rolled in, for example, paprika powder, dried parsley, poppy seeds, whole caraway seeds, dried dill tips, sesame seeds, or brown breadcrumbs.
