Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g low-fat curd cheese
- 200 ml cream
- ½ red bell pepper(s)
- 1 shallot(s) or 1/2 red onion
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 1 small bunch of chives
- Paprika powder, hot
- Salt
- pepper
- Sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
In a sufficiently large bowl, thoroughly mix the quark with the cream. Finely dice the bell pepper, shallot, and garlic, and finely chop the chives. Add the diced vegetables to the quark mixture and stir thoroughly. Stir in at least 2 tablespoons of paprika powder; the quark should turn a deep pink. Season to taste with salt and pepper and a pinch of sugar. Tastes great with potato pancakes, baked potatoes, or simply on bread or dipped with carrots.
