Herb fries with wasabi cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g potatoes
  • 1 liter of oil, or rapeseed oil, for frying
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • pepper
  • Sea salt
  • 1 tsp wasabi powder
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Heat the oil. Peel the potatoes, cut them into wedges, and pat them dry. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 10 minutes until golden brown and drain on kitchen paper. Mix the herbs with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the potatoes with the herb mixture. For the wasabi cream, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and wasabi and season with salt, lemon juice, and a little sugar.
