Herb Potty Bavaria
The perfect herb potty bavaria recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Bit Leek
- 1 Bit Carrot
- 6 piece Potatoes, about 300 gr.
- 600 ml Beef broth
- 200 g Sauerkraut
- 3 piece Bay leaves
- Salt
- Black pepper from the mill
- Sugar
- Mustard
- 2 Discs Kasseler, approx. 200 gr.
- 1 few White sausages
- 1 piece Pretzels
- Butter
- Chives
- Clean the leek & carrot and cut into small pieces. Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Drain the cabbage and roughly cut up. Cut the Kasseler into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat a little butter and sweat the leek briefly, then add the potatoes & carrots, season with a little salt & pepper and sweat a little too. Deglaze with hot beef stock. Add bay leaves & cabbage and cover and simmer on low heat until the potatoes are almost soft. Then add the Kassler and just let it steep.
- In the meantime, cut the pretzel and white sausage into not too thin slices and fry both sides in butter and degrease on crepe.
- Now season the herb pot with salt & pepper & sugar & mustard again. Quickly cut the chives into fine rolls.
- Put the roasted pretzel pieces in a soup cup, pour the hot broth over them, garnish with the sausage slices and the chives and ….. enjoy your meal …..
- If you want, you can peel the onion, cut it into rings and roll the rings immediately in flour, then deep-fry in sunflower oil and serve with it.
