Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • some salt
  • ⅛ liter of water
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Combine flour, eggs, salt, and water and knead into spaetzle dough. Let stand for about 30 minutes. Bring the water to a boil, then press the spaetzle dough into the boiling water. As soon as the dough floats to the top, scoop it out and let it drain in a sieve. Finely chop the parsley and finely chop the chives. Stir the herbs, cream, and cheese into the finished spaetzle and season well. Transfer everything to a greased baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes.
