Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1,800 g apples, unripe, chopped
  • little water
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 kg gelling sugar
  • n. B. Fresh herbs (rosemary, marjoram, thyme, savory, basil, sage)
  • possibly must or wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Boil the chopped apples with a little water until soft and let it steep. Carefully strain. Boil the resulting apple juice with lemon juice and preserving sugar until set. Stir in the chopped herbs, pour into prepared jars, and seal tightly. Pairs well with all dark meat dishes. Add herbs to your taste. Half of the apple juice can be replaced with cider or wine.
