Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 20 dates
  • 100 ml milk
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp, leveled black cumin
  • 2 tsp, leveled curry powder
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

vegetarian, sweet and spicy spread

Pit the dates, cut them into small pieces, and bring them to a boil with the milk in a saucepan, stirring constantly. If you like, you can remove the pan from the heat and puree the dates. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes and add it to the pan with the cream cheese. Continue stirring until the feta cheese becomes creamy. Remove the pan from the heat and add the oil, black cumin, and curry powder. Season with salt, pepper, and chili powder, if desired. Let it cool and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Tastes great with flatbread or baguette with lamb’s lettuce, or as a barbecue dip.
